THE BLACK LESSONS is an ongoing series of classes intended to highlight Black notable personalities & important historical events that are related to Islam and Muslims. These lessons include many classes on the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) – many of whom were previously thought to be pale or non-Black. Other lessons focus on Islam and its expression on the African continent, Black Muslim influencers in America, enslaved Black Muslims, Black Muslim scholars, Black Muslim rulers, exposing attempts to revise or ‘write-out’ Blacks from Islamic history and many other topics.
